About the Position

Hishult School is the small school with close and good cooperation where everyone takes good care of each other and helps out in both big and small matters; a solution-focused approach defines us.

Hishult School grades F-6 has about 90 students, of which about 50 are enrolled in the after-school care Kantarellen. Here you will work in nice indoor environments, and there are good opportunities for outdoor education in the surroundings.

The after-school care participates in a municipal development project aimed at a common and deeper understanding of the mission and providing the most equitable education possible for our students.

You will work together with educators in the after-school care to organize a learning, developing, and meaningful leisure time for the students. Together with the team, you will plan the activities based on the curriculum and follow up and evaluate the quality of the after-school activities. You work daily to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for our students and handle all tasks associated with the teaching profession.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are primarily looking for you who are a licensed teacher in after-school care or a licensed preschool teacher/after-school educator or equivalent higher education that the employer finds suitable. If you have the qualifications to teach physical education and health or any of the school's other subjects, it is an advantage.

You should be a natural leader who creates interest, engagement, and participation for our students in after-school care. We expect you to be well acquainted with the school's governing documents. We see it as obvious that you have a salutogenic and relational approach and meet students, guardians, and colleagues with competence and warmth. You have a strong drive and commitment and find it easy to build good relationships. You are passionate about after-school care, want to make a difference, and contribute to the students' learning throughout the school day.

Number of positions: 3
